Restoration Ministry: God's call to return
The Lord cares deeply about His children. Each of us are crafted specifically for a purpose. Before time began, He saw the beginning from the end and said that it was Good. He had a specific task that needed doing, and He crafted you, choosing which of His characteristics to put into you to make you exactly the way you needed to be to accomplish that goal.
Ever since your birth, possibly since your conception or even before, the Enemy has been trying to prevent you from accomplishing that purpose. He knows the damage you can do to his plans and he has been out to destroy you. The pain, heartache, hardship, trauma and abuse in your life were part of his plan to stop you from fulfilling your destiny. Among other things the enemy does this by: trying to make us reject God, trying to make us believe God has rejected us so we will reject him, by tormenting us like he did Job through sickness and other trials, by subjecting us to harsh treatment and abuse through people he can influence, by making us useless vessels, by making you ineligible to serve the Most High God (Yah) or so messing with you that no one will listen to or respect you. But Father God (Yah) has other plans for you.
The Lord has given me what He calls a restoration ministry- His goal is to restore you to how He created you to be. The first part of the restoration ministry is called Healing and Growth- removing from you the wounds and scar tissue the enemy has caused, and to heal you so thoroughly that there is not the tiny trace left of what the enemy did or tried to do. When Ester was prepared for the King, she went through a year of beauty treatments. The harshness of life in that time period caused callouses, scars, rough skin and other blemishes that took a year to smooth away- but with diligence and care, the harshness of life could be removed and the full beauty of the woman released from underneath. That is what the Lord longs to do in you today.
Once He has you cleaned up and beautiful, and living today as the Prince or Princess of the King that is your true identity, His next step is to train, equip and prepare you to take up your destiny. Part of that process includes you coming to understand why He made you, and why He made you the way He did. That is the second part of this ministry He has given me- Purpose and Destiny. In these sessions, your understanding of who you really are intensifies and increases, and like a child finishing school and getting to step into life, you will come to understand what you are best at and why, and what you were made for. In these sessions, you are equipped, trained and guided into the fullness of who you were intended to be. As well as beauty treatments, Ester and the other girls were educated in many areas, as the King did not just want a display piece, but a true friend and support. She was prepared to not just be beautiful, but to truly be a Queen. And that is the transformation that the Lord wants to do in you.
Once He has you positioned and walking out your destiny, He doesn’t stop there. He doesn’t abandon you or leave you alone without support.
The third part of this blessing He has given me to share, is Mentoring and Debriefing. As we carry out our purpose, we often need a confident on the journey. Someone who can guide us through sticky situations, be a comfort or support when we’ve made tough decisions, and fight with us and for us when the enemy comes in the night. Be at Peace, brothers and sisters in the faith, you are not alone. The Lord wants you to know that He cares for you deeply, and that He is your rock your fortress and your rearguard. Yes, these sessions are for you.
God’s purpose in my life, the destiny that He called me to, is to help people like you walk out yours. I work intensively with the people that He assigns to me, because many have experienced heavy attack and need both prayer support and ongoing encouragement to stay in the course. It is easier to talk often and keep you from falling than to get you cleaned up when you do. I don’t mind doing either, it’s part of my purpose, but I find longer calls frequently help us make sure the bandages don’t come off and the wounds are healing right. So most counselling calls I do are an hour and a half every week.
